IPL Points Table 2023
Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL Points Table 2023) is going to start from 31 March 2023. 10 teams are participating in IPL 2023. Which are as follows Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super giants, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. These teams get points based on the results of their matches. Each team gets 2 points for winning a match.
If the match is canceled due to rain, tie or any other reason then both the teams get 1-1 point. The losing team does not get any points. In the points table, the teams rank at the top on the basis of their points. The top 4 teams in the points table at the end of the league stage of the tournament qualify for the playoffs. In case of equal points in the points table, the ranking of the teams is decided on the basis of net run rate. The team which has higher net run rate is placed on top.

At the end of the league stage, the top 2 teams in the points table get one more chance to qualify for the finals. During the playoffs, these two teams play each other in the first qualifier match for a place in the final. In which the winning team directly reaches the final and the losing team of the first qualifier match has one more chance to go to the final.
The second qualifier match is between the third and fourth numbered teams in the points table. This match is eliminator i.e. the losing team is directly out of the tournament. And the winning team plays the first qualifier match against the losing team to go to the final. The winning team of this match reaches the final. Where he has to play the final with the first qualifier match winning team.
